CallCloud for Salesforge
Parallel dial the people in your Salesforge sequences without leaving Salesforge. CallCloud opens in a panel beside your sequence, calls several leads at once, and writes every call result back to the Salesforge contact so your email and LinkedIn follow-up knows what happened on the phone.
Overview
- Salesforge stays the home of your contacts, sequences, emails and LinkedIn steps.
- CallCloud adds the phone: a parallel dialer in a panel docked to the right of Salesforge, using your CallCloud numbers, voicemail detection and recordings.
- After each call, CallCloud updates the Salesforge contact (custom variables and tags), and a booked meeting or a do-not-call takes the person out of the sequence.
Set up
You need a CallCloud workspace (an owner connects Salesforge), a Salesforge account, and Google Chrome.
- In Salesforge, open Settings, API and create an API key.
- In CallCloud, open Settings, Integrations, find Salesforge, choose Connect and paste the key. CallCloud checks it with Salesforge before saving.
- That one key covers your whole team. Reps never see it.
The key can read every Salesforge workspace your Salesforge account can see, and their sequences show up together in CallCloud.
Phone numbers
Salesforge contacts have no phone field, so CallCloud reads the number from a contact's custom variables. Put it in a variable named phone. Variables called mobile, cell, telephone or direct dial are read too; phone is dialed first.
- Use one number per variable, with the country code for numbers outside the US and Canada.
- Several numbers in one variable work when separated by commas.
- Contacts with no number are skipped. If none of a sequence's leads have one, CallCloud says so instead of starting.
Install the extension
CallCloud for Salesforge is part of the CallCloud Chrome extension, the same one that dials in Salesloft, Outreach and HubSpot.
- Open CallCloud in the Chrome Web Store and choose Add to Chrome.
- Open Salesforge (or refresh the tab if it was already open).
- Sign in to CallCloud inside the panel the first time. Continue with Google opens a small sign-in window and the panel picks it up when you are done.
Chrome updates the extension by itself. Already have CallCloud for Salesloft, Outreach or HubSpot? You have it: refresh your Salesforge tab.
Dial a sequence
- Open a sequence in Salesforge. A Parallel dial button appears next to Reporting. On any other page, use the CallCloud tab on the right edge of the window.
- The panel opens beside Salesforge and Salesforge shrinks to fit, so nothing is covered. Drag the panel's left edge to resize it, or choose Wide to give the dialer the whole window.
- Choose Dial this sequence. CallCloud pulls the sequence's leads and opens the dialer. Press Start dialing.
- Leads who unsubscribed or are on Salesforge's do-not-contact list are skipped.
- The whole sequence is pulled, however big it is.
- The campaign stays in step with the sequence. Every time you press Start dialing (and every time you choose Dial this sequence), people who joined the sequence are added and people who left it, unsubscribed or went on do-not-contact are taken out. If someone comes back to the sequence, they are back in the dialer.
- Dialing a sequence again reuses the same CallCloud campaign, so its settings and call history carry on.
- Lines, caller ID, calling hours and voicemail settings come from your CallCloud campaign settings.
Replies stop the calls
Salesforge tells CallCloud the moment someone in your sequences replies, books a meeting or opts out, and CallCloud pauses that person's calls, so nobody gets a cold call an hour after they answered your email.
An owner picks what counts in CallCloud under Settings, Integrations, Salesforge:
| When someone... | On by default |
|---|---|
| Replies positively | Yes |
| Replies negatively | Yes |
| Books a meeting | Yes |
| Replies on LinkedIn | Yes |
| Unsubscribes | Yes |
| Is added to do-not-contact | Yes |
| Replies to any email | No. It includes out-of-office auto-replies. |
Then choose how long their calls pause: 3, 7, 14 or 30 days, or until someone turns them back on. A paused prospect shows the pause on their CallCloud page, where anyone can lift it. CallCloud sets this up in Salesforge for you when Salesforge is connected; there is nothing to configure on the Salesforge side.
During a call
- Salesforge's own contact table shows who is on your lines: Ringing, Picked up, or On call.
- When you connect with someone, their Salesforge contact opens beside the dialer. It stays open after you hang up, until your next connect.
- The panel shows only the call: the person, Connect / Voicemail / Skip, mute, the dial pad, notes, and your outcome. Hanging up with keep dialing goes straight to the next call.
- Hide slides the panel away and the call keeps going. Reloading the Salesforge tab ends any call in progress.
What goes back to Salesforge
Salesforge has no call or activity records, so CallCloud writes where your email and LinkedIn steps can use it: the contact's custom variables and tags. This happens after every call, including no-answers and voicemails.
| Custom variable | Example | What it holds |
|---|---|---|
last_call_result | Meeting Booked | The outcome you picked, or the call result when there was no conversation (No answer, Voicemail, Busy, Bad number). |
last_call_date | 2026-10-21 | The day of the latest call. |
call_count | 3 | How many times CallCloud has called this person. |
last_call_notes | Demo Thursday 2pm | Your notes from the call, up to 1,000 characters. Only written when you took notes. |
| Tag | When |
|---|---|
Call: Connected | You had a conversation. |
Call: <your outcome> | Every outcome you pick, for example Call: Meeting Booked or Call: Call Back. |
Use them in Salesforge to filter contacts, build the next sequence from a tag, or reference the call in a follow-up email.
Stopping the sequence. When you pick a Meeting booked or Do not call outcome, CallCloud removes that person from the Salesforge sequence you dialed, so the next email does not go out. Other outcomes, including Not interested, leave the sequence running.
Your existing contact details (name, company, title, other variables and tags) are kept as they are.
What stays in CallCloud
The full call record lives in CallCloud: recordings, transcripts and AI summaries, every attempt, and team analytics. Open Calls and Analytics in the panel, or choose Open tab to use CallCloud in its own tab.
Good to know
- Multichannel and legacy sequences are both supported. Legacy sequences are marked legacy on their tile. Salesforge cannot take one person out of a legacy sequence, so a booked meeting there updates the contact but leaves the sequence running.
- The panel keeps your phone line open while you move around Salesforge. After a CallCloud update, refresh the Salesforge tab once so the panel loads it.
- A contact needs an email or LinkedIn URL in Salesforge for CallCloud to update it. Every Salesforge contact has one.
- CallCloud only changes the contacts you call, and only the variables and tags above.
Troubleshooting
| You see | What to do |
|---|---|
| Salesforge rejected that key | Copy the key again from Salesforge, Settings, API, without a "Bearer" prefix. |
| None of the leads have a phone number | Add each contact's number to a phone custom variable in Salesforge, then dial the sequence again. |
| This campaign dials from each rep's own number, and none is assigned to you yet | Assign yourself a number in CallCloud Settings, Phone numbers, or set the campaign's caller ID to a single number. |
| No Parallel dial button | Check CallCloud is added and turned on in Chrome (Extensions menu, the puzzle piece), then refresh Salesforge. The button shows on sequence pages; elsewhere use the CallCloud tab on the right edge. |
| The panel asks you to sign in | Sign in inside the panel with your CallCloud email and password, or Continue with Google. If the Google window does not open, allow pop-ups for app.salesforge.ai. |
